Background and Training

Nhi is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. She has additional post-graduate training in the Gottman Method for couple’s counselling.

Nhi has a background in science and brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her therapy work. Her passion for making a meaningful impact in people’s lives began through extensive volunteer work in hospital settings, where she discovered the deep fulfillment that comes from connecting with and supporting others on a personal level. This experience inspired her transition into the field of counselling, where she integrates her diverse academic background to offer compassionate and holistic support.

In addition to working at Head and Heart Counselling, Nhi currently works as a couple’s counsellor at Powerful Mind Counselling. She also works as a Behavioural Interventionist, supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.

From Nhi

“There may be moments when things feel heavy, when you feel stuck, or when you aren’t quite sure what comes next. My hope is to provide a warm, safe, and welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. I believe that therapy is not about having all the answers or needing to be a certain version of yourself, but rather having the space to explore, reflect and better understand who you are without judgment.

Together, we can gently explore your experiences, relationships, values and the parts of yourself that may feel harder to connect with. Through empathy, curiosity and compassion, my goal is to support you in recognizing your strengths and finding a path forward that is meaningful and true to you.”
